Iron Equipment is one of southern Ontario’s largest dealer independent service providers to the equipment industry. Always keeping our customers best interest in mind is just one key value that has allowed us to build trust with our customers. Our roots come from the service industry, and we understand the urgency to have a qualified technician on site ASAP. Our history of most often having a mechanic available to drop and go and our 24/7 on call emergency services have been a key part to our success.

It is not Iron Equipment’s goal to replace your OEM service provider, rather it is our goal to be the first call and to provide our customers a team of licenced technicians with diverse backgrounds, all who are familiar to you and your equipment. While there is always unique failures and faults that require the dealer, we find most repairs can be resolved faster and at a better value with our services first.

We have been providing our fleet services in the Central Southern Ontario region including the GTA, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Bowmanville, Durham, Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough, Northumberland, Madoc, Belleville, Cobourg, Port Hope, Brighton, and the surrounding areas since 2011 and as we continue to grow so does the area we service.

Our present customers are diverse and include construction, municipalities, mining, aggregate production, forestry, waste industry, agricultural, landscapers, industry, water and wastewater, colleges, universities, small business and private owners.

We are dealer independent, and our licensed diesel mechanics can work on all makes, models and types of heavy construction equipment, aggregate equipment and diesel power generators. We are always committed to providing the best quality service to our customer and to source and use quality products, from both OEM and after-market suppliers, when we service and repair your equipment.

Safety

Safety has become a culture that we are proud to be part of, as in many trades’ situations can often occur that can expose a worker to unsafe working conditions. Creating the culture and acceptance that there is always time to adjust and work safe has been a key to our success. Iron Equipment is proud to be part of multiple compliance agencies including: TSSA, Avetta, Contractor Compliance and Cognibox. We provide all WSIB clearance certificates are fully insured, and our team is trained in: WHIMIS, AODA, CPR/AED, First Aid, Surface Minor Common Core, working from heights, Arial lift, LOTO, Hot Work, FLRA and many more that are job specific.

Cost / Rates

Annually rates are reviewed and adjusted January 1^st each year, at Iron Equipment we look for solutions to control our costs while working to delivering the best value of service to our customers. Clear, well documented electronic invoices are important as it allows our customers to understand the services we performed. Whether it is travel, repair, or any other of our many services one labour rate is billed for all our services.

2025 Technician Rates

$158.00 per hour base rate applies to customers with an approved account set up with 30-day terms.

$170.00 per hour base rate applies to new customers who pay with credit card or approved account set up with terms greater then 30 days.

2025 Mobile Power Washing Rates

$150.00 Welding Rate and Mobile Power Washing Rate per hour base rate applies to new customers who pay with credit card or approved account set up with terms greater then 30 days.

Base rate is billed between Monday – Friday from 7am to 5pm

1.5 x our base rate is billed Monday-Friday before 7am, after 5pm and for the first 8 hours on Saturday.

2 x our base rate is billed after 8 hours worked on Saturday, Sundays, and Holidays.

Overtime rates and 4-hour minimums apply to all after hours calls.
